Yes, friends. The non-stop party train that is Kile’s life has just pulled into the station. He’s back with more wonderful news to share with all the good little boys and girls.
I had the pleasure of being a guest on ‘The Quiet Room’, a wonderful podcast hosted by author/trucker/photographer/artist/suspected arsonist and all around good guy M.J. Preston.
I only met MJ in person this past Summer at AnthoCon in Portsmouth, NH, but we’ve been connected through the indie author community for some before that. He’s Canadian. So, there’s that. He is also a for-reals Ice Road Trucker, which makes him pretty tough, yet cuddly IMO.
MJ invited me to be a guest on his podcast, THE premier podcast for your small-press writers, books, and all things art. I was very excited to be a part of this, as, outside of social media, I don’t get a whole lot of exposure, at least, none that I know of. Yes, I have this wonderful website, which is HUGE in Brazil; much love to my Brazilian peeps. So, I looked at the opportunity for myself to get some exposure, for MJ’s podcast to get exposure, and above all, just to have fun chatting with my friend.
Please be aware, while I am hilarious, profound and very pretty, I am also offensive. I curse and make jokes that some might find tasteless. Hence, the podcast has been marked with the dreaded Scarlet Letter that is ‘Parental Advisory’.
What transpired was almost 90 minutes of excellent discussion, ranging from being unafraid to be bold and offensive in art, to strippers and the movie ‘Footloose’ We probably spent too much time on Footloose…
This is well worth your time, friends of friends. It’s perfect for a nice drive, or if you are folding laundry, or roasting a side of beef, or contemplating the mysteries of the universe, or wondering if you are just living inside of a snow globe. Because, you are. Seriously.
Check out the podcast by going to my ‘Media’ page or to MJ’s website here.
Also, check out MJ on Amazon to learn more about his works and, you know, pick up a copy and give him a review. Reviews are the greatest gift a reader can give to an author.
And cocaine. Reviews and cocaine.
